Description
Iceland is a deceptively-named country. The weather is generally mild, and the dominant color is fresh green for most of the year. With a population of only about 300,000 and a land mass the size of the US state of Kentucky, Iceland offers plenty of opportunities to explore completely undisturbed landscapes.
This book showcases some of the images from a group of seven photographers who visited the southern region of Iceland in the Autumn of 2011: Glade Gauger, Jay Patel, Neal Yu, Paul Marcellini, Robert Beidman, Shawn Vogt, and Varina Patel. It describes…in their own words…their thought process and workflow as they explored these breathtaking locations. Enjoy the journey!

Hi Jay,
Fantastic work once again!
Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful trip :)
Regards,
Philippe
Hello Phillippe,
Thanks for the comments…The eBook would not have been possible without contribution from other photographers. Glad you liked the Ebook.
Thank you Varina & Jay for sharing a free ebook about your photographic adventures in Iceland. It was a pleasure to follow your blogs while you were in Iceland and now to see an ebook with it all put together was a very nice touch!
Two questions.
Where can I learn more about your iHDR workflow?
What are the title bar and buttons for on each of the pages of the ebook for? They don’t seem to do anything for me (i’ve viewed the PDF in Safari and in Adobe Reader X).
We’re so glad you enjoyed it all, Michael! You can find more information about our iHDR workflow here: http://www.photographybyvarina.com/photography/workshops/webinar-recordings-nature-photography-ihdr-workflow
As for the problems you are having with the title bar and buttons, I’m not sure what’s causing that. We’ll check the files on our end to make sure they are working properly. Thanks for letting us know that they aren’t working for you – we haven’t heard of others with similar problems, so we’ll try to figure out where the problem is.
Thanks!
e-book wae good thanks
